How we work
Gold moves every day. Most suppliers hide that inside a single price and hope you do not ask. We do the opposite: we show you the reference we used, the grams we weighed, and what each part of your invoice is for.
- 1 · You open an account
Tell us who you are and what you sell. We check every company before an account is opened and come back to you by email.
- 2 · You order
Pick a piece, choose the carat and the options, and we show you the price broken down: labour, gold, and the deposit on materials. Your labour charge is fixed at that moment and does not change.
- 3 · You pay the fixed part
Labour in full and a deposit on the estimated materials. We send you a proforma with the payment details. Production starts once that payment reaches us.
- 4 · We make it, and you watch
Each stage is photographed so you can see where your order is without asking.
- 5 · We weigh it
Gold is charged for the exact grams we weigh, at our published daily reference on the day of weighing. You see the figure before anything else is due, and you have 24 hours to raise a query; if nothing is raised, the order moves to payment.
- 6 · You settle and we ship
Your statement shows the gram difference and the reference difference separately, so you can check every line yourself.
The gold reference
Gold is charged at our daily gold reference, fixed each working day at 15:05 UK time and applied to the following working day. The reference we used is printed on your quote and on your invoice.
Made to order or in stock
Some pieces are held; others are made to order or in stock depending on the design and the size you need. We tell you which before you commit.
